2020 BMW 2 Series vs Audi A3

Nothing is more important than finding yourself the luxury vehicle that complements your life. We want to make sure that you get behind the wheel of your perfect match, which is why we are looking at two of the top luxury sedans on the market today. We are starting with the 2020 Audi A3, which renames some of the trims in its lineup, adds in another trim level, and makes more equipment standard. You'll also be able to enjoy a powerful standard engine, and an upscale design! The other sedan we are looking at is the 2020 BMW 2 Series, which doesn't have many changes, except for making rain-sensing wipers standard. Some other changes include new paint colors, wheel choices, and different interior upholstery. Keep reading to learn more about these sedans.

2020 Audi A3 Power & Handling

There are three configurations available with the A3. The standard configuration here is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with FWD, which produces 184 hp and 22 lb-ft of torque. The same engine, this time with AWD, can crank out 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. When you pair this engine with the A3 Sport, you end up getting 280 pound-feet of torque and 288 horsepower. You will also be able to enjoy a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. As you can tell, power is no object here, which means you will always get that engine sound that you're looking for.

2020 BMW 2 Series Power & Handling

You can choose from two engines with the 2020 2 Series. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4, which produces 258 pound-feet of torque and 248 horsepower. The available engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6, which outputs 369 pound-feet of torque and 335 horsepower. You can get these engines with either RWD or AWD, and either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. We much prefer the configurations offered with the Audi A3.

2020 Audi A3 Features & Design

Higher trims, like Premium Plus, includes wireless smartphone charging, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, full LED headlights, and a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

2020 BMW 2 Series Features & Design
