2020 Audi A8 Power & Handling

In the 2020 model year, there are three engines powering the A8 lineup. The base engine is a 3.0-liter V6 that generates up to 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The next engine is a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 that produces up to 453 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. The final engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 plug-in hybrid that delivers up to 443 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. All engine options are mated to an eight-speed shiftable automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive!

2020 BMW 7 Series Power & Handling

There are four engines offered for the BMW 7 Series in the 2020 model year. The base engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder that generates 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. The next engine is a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 that produces 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. There is also a plug-in hybrid option, a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder with an electric motor that creates a combined 389 horsepower. The last engine is a 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 that generates 601 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is available.

2020 Audi A8 Features & Design

There are three A8 trim levels for the 2020 model year. Standard features include a panoramic sunroof, an adaptive air suspension, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, Apple and Android smartphone integration, and LED headlights. Other features found throughout the trim levels include 19-inch 15-spoke turbine wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats with 4-way power lumbar adjustment and memory settings, MMI navigation, and Audi's virtual cockpit. Drivers can also outfit the A8 with features like dual-pane acoustic glass, Matrix LED headlights, heated and ventilated seats, a full-leather interior, and a predictive active suspension.

2020 BMW 7 Series Features & Design

There are five versions of the BMW 7 Series offered for the 2020 model year. Standard features include a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, smartphone integration, a wireless smartphone charging pad, Harman Kardon sound system, navigation, and a power trunk lid. The upper trim levels have a head-up display, heated and ventilated seats, rear seats that slide and recline, and driver assistance features.


After breaking down what both of these sedans have to offer, we cannot recommend the Audi A4 enough!
